Collaborating with Wilkerson Associates Architects and the Carolinas HealthCare System, Manning Design Group developed the architecture and interiors for Cleveland Regional Medical Center’s new 30,000 SF Emergency / Trauma Center.

In this Emergency / Trauma Center setting, marrying the architectural design and the interior design together to create one unified space was essential. Because the medical center supports the ideology of treating the entire person (mind, body and spirit), the seamless integration of architecture and interior design needed to successfully reflect that holistic healing environment.

This expanded Emergency Department includes a new ambulance entrance, 24 exam rooms with two large dedicated trauma rooms, four additional trauma bays, six universal rooms, 12 exam rooms, two psych holding rooms, and a large central nurse station with direct view to the exam rooms. The warm finish materials Manning Design Group chose for the facility include sheet vinyl flooring by Toli, cubicle curtain fabric by Carnegie, and Herman Miller systems furniture for the nurse stations.
